The Garages in Bratislava have always been a special show spot with numerous incredible bands from across the globe. After more than 30 years, it appears that the Garages, as a DIY show spot, may soon come to an end due to city development. Shallov is a three-piece band from Bratislava merging raw, unbound post-hardcore and screamo with atmospheric, progressive post-rock/post-metal elements often in over 10-minute long progressive compositions. Their performance captivates the audience in an emotional rollercoaster - immersively atmospheric, aggressive, hypnotic, dark, sometimes euphoric and hopeful. While their latest studio work is rather clean, layered and rich in production, their live performance gives their songs a bit different, much more straightforward punch, performed completely live.
